I am here to inspire and support you in creating a Wedding Ceremony that is truly a reflection of your Love.

I love the Big Blue sky with fluffy clouds, The Wind in the trees, Fresh rain on a summer’s afternoon, Relationships, Celebration of Love, and getting to know you and your “Love Story.”

I am inspiring, organized, wise, upbeat, creative, friendly, and professional.

I love the study of mindfulness, presence, self-compassion, and exploring new ways of being.

AMORE & NATURE

Over the past 30 years I have been performing Ceremonies in breath-taking locations and venues that bring big Smiles to my couples, to their families, and friends.

I have lived in Bend, Oregon for many years – because – I love having access to nature, beauty and the wilds.

I love the fresh mountain air we experience here. I love mountain biking, wilderness hiking, wild places, sea-kayaking, cross-country skiing, gardening, beauty, photography, pickle ball, meditation, relationship coaching, and yoga.

I had the privilege to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro when I was seventeen years old – following a very narrow path up the mountain – a 76 mile adventure.

And traveling to Morocco when I was sixteen with a girlfriend where we learned all about the culture of Morocco.

Living 500 miles into the bush of Tanzania, East Africa – helped shape my character along with living in Spain for High School and studying architecture in Turkey.

I learned about Buddhism while living in Sri Lanka with my family.

Sea-kayaking in Baja and visiting the Whales is one of my favorite life adventures.

Traveling to San Miquel de Allende in Mexico – I checked out many beautiful roof-top locations for Weddings and Elopements.

I was a Wilderness Guard for the Forest Service in the Three Sisters Wilderness near Bend, and circumvented the Mountains there and lead a women’s llama trip with ten other women and hiked 56 miles.

I lived in Eastern Oregon where I worked for the Forest Service and learned about the Ecology of the Oregon Forests.  

I love adventure and bringing inspiring words to your ceremony.

My Life Focus 

Has been on human potential — and what is possible when we choose love, integrity, honesty, goodness, and kindness as our life focus.

  • I have studied extensively what it takes to create mindful- relationships that make your life – sweet, whole and expansive.
  • I love finding ways to contribute to creating a loving-world we want to be part of and living lightly on the earth.
  • I have a broad world-view and I am a life-long-learner.
  • I have a Masters Degree in Applied Behavioral Science – Coaching and Consulting and I studied Spiritual Life-style training at Kripalu Holistic Yoga Health Retreat Center in Massachusetts.
  • My Bachelors degree is in Environmental Studies and Geography.
  • I am a Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) – I have studied Vipassana-Meditation, Mindfulness, Yoga, Singing, and Ecstatic Dance

Wonderful wedding ceremony It was a joy to work with ME on our wedding. In our case, we had a good idea of what we wanted and she respected all our wishes. She had a number of templates that helped us structure the ceremony. The ceremony itself was so romantic and meaningful to us. She honored our request that she maintain a limited role, but was really helpful in coordinating the ceremony. In particular, the musician was fully integrated into the ceremony, which added to making the day very special.

Mary Ellen is the Bomb. You must Hire Mary Ellen! From our first interaction, “M.E.” showed compassion and expediency. She was ready with excellent suggestion but not at all pushy. Ours was a short notice Bilingual (Chinese/ English ) ceremony including a WECHAT broadcast for family in China. She also hired and coordinated an Interpreter for us. She is a delightful young lady as well. She presented a delightful ceremony. You must hire Mary Ellen!
